- Matthew 26:63-64, NKJV - But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him, “I put You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!” Jesus said to him, “It is as you said. Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
- Mark 14:61-62, NKJV - But He kept silent and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, “Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?” Jesus said, “I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.”
- John 1:1,10-12,14, NKJV - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. … He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. he came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name … And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
- Galatians 4:4, NKJV - But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forht His Son, born of a woman, born under the law.
- Luke 24:18-27, NKJV - Then the one whose name was Cleopas answered and said to Him, “Are You the only stranger in Jerusalem, and have You not known the things which happened there in these days?” And He said to them, “What things?” So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified Him. But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened. Yes, and certain women of our company, who arrived at the tomb early, astonished us. When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive. And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but Him they did not see.” Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.
Hundred of prophecies said a Savior would come (Acts 3:18; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
For each one to be complete, the odds were billions to one
Not just any man could begin to fill them all
Only God could give the greatest gift, this gift of love (John 3:16)
You’re the One they said would come
And You gave Yourself for everyone (2 Corinthians 5:15)
You’re the One who is love (1 John 4:8,16)
And You gave it all to anyone who would come (Matthew 11:26)
You’re the One
Weary and burdened, I came, and You gave me rest (Matthew 11:28)
Broken and tattered from this world, but You healed and blessed
And though I fail You, time and time again I fall
You forgive my sins, forgive them one, forgive them all
In my transgressions I can feel my spirit die
Unable to save myself, beyond death, I reach for Your light
But this Jesus came and He died for all my sins (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
That by grace through faith in You that I, that I might live (Ephesians 2:8-9)
- Michael Schroeder
- Matthew 4:4, NKJV - But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”
- John 15:1-8, NKJV - ” I AM the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me taht does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”
- Psalm 119:105, NKJV - Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.
- Deuteronomy 8:3, NKJV -Â “So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.”
- Romans 1:16, NKJV - For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
- 1 Thessalonians 1:5, NKJV -Â For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.
- 1 Corinthians 2:4-5, NKJV -Â And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
And I don’t know when I lost my way
I guess it was the very first second of the very first day (Psalm 51:5)
When this world leaves me feeling lost and down
I open your Word and my soul, it starts to feel found
Fuel for the soul, fuel for the soul it comes my way
By grace, through faith, it’s comin’ my way
Fuel for the soul, your Holy Spirit comes my way
I know your Word is fuel for the soul
When this world leads me to forget Your ways
When I get so caught up in this world that I forget to pray
Like a tidal wave You just rush on in
When I open Your Word to find the food Your Holy Spirit gives
Sometimes I forget where I’m goin’
Sometimes I forget what it’s about
Like my body needs to eat or it will die
In Your Word my soul lives, like branches to, to the vine (John 15:1-8)
Fuel for the soul, fuel for the soul it comes my way
By grace, through faith, it’s comin’ my way
Fuel for the soul, Your Holy Spirit comes my way
I know Your love sustains, I know Your Word is fuel for the soul

- Romans 8:28, NKJV - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
- Romans 5:3-5, NKJV - And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.
- Matthew 5:4, NKJV - Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.
- Psalm 30:11, NKJV - You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness.
A young man in the prime of his life loses his job
Three kids depending on him while he’s hopelessly lost
He don’t know where to turn, opens the Good Book and learns
A blessing in disguise, and you know it’s just a blessing in their life
The Lord will provide, and sometimes it’s a blessing in disguise
A rich man who thought he had, had everything
But one day he lost it all and found out what was missing
And a rich man comes to know the Good Lord who saved his soul
Oh Lord, how I know
To watch this pruned tree grow (John 15:1-2)
A young girl who searched the world looking for love
But each time she’d painfully find it was never enough
And in the words “He saved” she found out love was what You gave

Precious Lord, take my hand
Lead me on, let me stand
I am tired, I am weak, I am worn
Through the storm, through the night
Lead me on to the light
Take my hand, precious Lord
Lead me home
When my way grows drear
Precious Lord, linger near
When my life is almost gone
Hear my cry, hear my call
Hold my hand lest I fall
When the darkness appears
And the night draws near
And the day is past and gone
At the river I stand
Guide my feet, hold my hand

Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you washed in the blood?
In the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless, are they white as snow?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you walking daily by the Savior’s side?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Do you rest each moment in the crucified?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless, are they white as snow?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

There is a name I love to hear
I love to sing its worth
It sounds like music in my ear
The sweetest name on Earth
O how I love Jesus
O how I love Jesus
O how I love Jesus
Because He first loved me
It tells me of a Savior’s love
Who died to set me free
It tells me of His precious blood
The sinner’s perfect plea
It tells of one whose loving heart
Can fell my deepest woe
Who in each sorrow hears a part
That none can bear below

What a wonderful change in my life has been brought
Since Jesus came into my heart
I had lied in my soul for so long I have sought
When Jesus came into my heart
Since Jesus came into my heart
Since Jesus came into my heart
Floods of joy fill my soul like
When sea billows roll
Since Jesus came into my heart
Floods of joy filled my soul like when sea billows roll
Since Jesus came into my heart

Nobody knows how lonely my road
Nobody knows how heavy my load
Nobody cares how tearful my way
How dark the night, how weary the day
Nobody knows, nobody cares
My every burden nobody shares
My only comfort and my only strength
Is Jesus walking by my side all the way
Nobody knows how hard I must toil
Causing sometimes my heart to recoil
Nobody cares when I try to sleep
I lay awake and I bitterly weep
Nobody knows, nobody cares
My every burden, nobody shares
My only comfort, my only strength
Is Jesus walking by my side all the way
Nobody knows how weary my cross
Nobody knows my trouble, my loss
Nobody cares if even I’m ill
Or if life’s hardships have broken my will
Nobody knows, nobody cares
My every burden nobody shares
My only comfort and my only strength
Is Jesus walking by my side all the way
Nobody knows, nobody cares
My every burden nobody shares
My only comfort, my only strength
Is Jesus walking by my side all the way

A long time ago, Lazarus died
All hope seemed gone as his sisters cried
Jesus walked to where he laid
He called his name and he came out of the grave
Oh death, where is thy sting? Oh grave, where is thy victory?
you thought you had a hold on me but you were wrong, I’ve been set free
Oh, jesus hung on a rugged cross, he gave His life for a world once lost
He lay three days in a borrowed grave but when He came out I could hear Him say
Oh death, where thy sting? Oh grave, where is thy victory?
You thought you had a hold on me but you were wrong, I’ve been set free
One day I’ll lay this body down, they’ll dress me up and put me in the ground
But when Jesus comes in the sky, just listen close and you’ll hear me cry
Oh death, where is thy sting? Oh grave, where is thy victory?
You thought you had a hold on me but you were wrong, I’ve been set free
Oh death, where is thy sting? Oh grave, where is thy victory?
You thought you had a hold on me but you were wrong, I’ve been set free

Light of the world You stepped down into darkness
Open my eyes, let me see
Beauty that made this heart adore You
Hope of a life spent with You
Here I am to worship
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that you’re my God
You’re altogether lovely, altogether worthy, altogether wonderful to me
King of all days, oh so highly exalted
Glorious in Heaven above
Humbly You came to the earth
You created all for love’s sake became poor
I’ll never know how much it cost to see my sin upon that cross
I’ll never know how much it cost to see my sin upon that cross
Here I am to worship
