Why Don’t You Have “x” Song or Album?
Material is only added to songs and albums which I own. At the time this FAQ was written, my collection consisted of 3,657 legally owned songs spanning 251 albums and multiple genres of music. (Yes, I spend way too much money on music.)
I type up each song’s lyrics myself, which is time consuming. Preferably, I would like to type up the lyrics while listening to the song to make sure each song added here is completely accurate, but that would tkae even more time. Because of that, most lyrics are taken directly from album booklets, and since about half of my collection’s booklets do not contain lyrics, it will be even longer before those albums are listed here.
That being said, you are welcome to use our contact form to request lyrics to be posted. If I have it in my collection, it’ll get priority in being put online sooner.
Why Do Some Songs Have Bible Verses Listed?
In far too few Christian music albums, there are Bible verses listed alongside the songs in the album booklet. The text of these verses is rarely (never?) listed, and so I am posting the verses here in their entirety. Remember that no matter how much we love Christian music, the message of Christian artists, or anything else like that, the word of God ought to take priority in our lives. When we listen to those songs with listed Bible verses, sing with those verses in your heart. They were listed by the artist and their crew for a reason, after all.
May I Submit Material or Corrections?
While we don’t allow guest-submitted lyrics, you are welcome to submit material & corrections on songs which are already here via the comment form on every song. Sometimes I can’t discern what an artist is saying, so if you have a correction, I welcome it!
If you want to submit guitar, piano, bass, trumpet, or whatever chords/tabs for a song, you’re more than welcome to do so in the comments! Using the HTML pre tag will help you retain formatting if you do post tabs or chords or whatever.
We also welcome reviews of songs, interpretations of songs, and just about anything else about the songs!
